Marriage Counseling
Marriage can present its own set of challenging circumstances. At Reigning Grace Counseling Center, we recognize that two people coming together before God in marriage does not guarantee an easy and simple road ahead. Yet, take heart! God’s Word has life-giving hope and while you may be experiencing marital difficulties that seem insurmountable, there is help and hope found in His Word. In your marriage, are you struggling with:
- Communication
- Finances
- Parenting
- Intimacy
- Adultery
- Pornography
- Time Management
Our caring and compassionate counselors will help you and your spouse deal with the heart issues that have divided you. Our counseling team consists of men and women to provide you with a balanced approach to every counseling situation.

Note: With marriage counseling at Reigning Grace, a male counselor will be assigned to the husband and a female counselor will be assigned to the wife. This allows for individual counseling and joint counseling opportunities for each spouse throughout the duration of counseling.
Note: Each individual will need to complete their own separate registration form in order to begin marriage counseling.
Domestic Abuse Counseling
Abuse is not normal. It is not always visible. Emotional and verbal abuse are harder to see than the effects of physical abuse, but they can be equally devastating.
Abuse is an issue of the heart between the abuser and God, as well as between the abused person and God. It is for these reasons that Reigning Grace approaches domestic abuse cases differently than marriage counseling. God’s Word addresses the abused. It gives hope for change to the abuser as well!
If you are in an abusive relationship, please let Reigning Grace help you. If you are in danger, get to a place of safety, and then call us for help. If we are not available, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1 (800) 799-7233.
God take abuse seriously, and so do we. Please click on the link below to learn about getting started at Reigning Grace Counseling Center or click on “Domestic Abuse Counseling” to register right away
Family Counseling
Family counseling seeks to reconcile parents and children, siblings and relatives, when relationships have been fractured by problems. This type of counseling is helpful as the final stage of reconciliation in a marriage affected by abuse or addiction, or when there is conflict in relationships due to divorce and remarriage. Is your family struggling with any of these issues:
- Conflict
- Blended Family
- Divorce and Remarriage
- Parent-Child Relationships
- Communication
- Addiction
Our compassionate and experienced counseling teams will help those involved address the critical issues of the heart that lead to destructive patterns of interaction in relationships. We will help you learn to communicate clearly and biblically with each other, considering others as more important than yourself.

Note: Each individual will need to complete their own separate registration form in order to begin family counseling.
**If a minor is applying for counseling as well, the minor must fill out their own registration form as best as they can. This can look like the parent/guardian asking the minor questions from the form and recording their answers. Reigning Grace will not expect registration forms for minors that have been filled out by the minors parent or guardian.
Pre-Marital Counseling
Are you planning on getting married? Whether you are getting ready to pop the question or whether you already have the ring, the date, and the dress, pre-marital counseling is a vital part of preparing for marriage.
Our program consists of 90-minute sessions over a span of 12-13 weeks and will cover a variety of crucial issues for every couple to address when planning a lifetime together.
Some situations may require a longer course of care, and we have found it best to begin counseling before engagement or at least four-six months before the anticipated wedding date.
At Reigning Grace Counseling Center, you will meet with both a male and female biblical counselor. You will complete short, engaging, and fun homework assignments together that will help you learn more about each other and how you relate to one another. You will also learn the biblical principles for a successful marriage that will last a lifetime.

Note: Each individual will need to complete their own separate registration form in order to begin pre-marital counseling.
Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling
The negative effects of addiction are far-reaching. The use and abuse of drugs and alcohol bring consequences in the form of family troubles, legal difficulties, poor health, and problems at work. Entire families are affected by drug and alcohol abuse and addiction.
Directed by a Missouri-credentialed substance abuse provider and biblical counselor, we provide education, counsel, and mentoring to individuals and families in the areas of substance abuse and related problematic behaviors, financial counseling, marital counseling, parenting issues, and vocational counseling. You will learn the heart-level reasons for the desire to drink and use drugs. You will be equipped to overcome the desires of the flesh that are holding you captive and you will finally understand how to be free from the bondage, guilt, shame, and pain that this lifestyle brings.
We stand ready and equipped to help you get your life back to the place where it once again brings glory to God. Please click on the link below to learn about getting started at Reigning Grace Counseling Center or click on “Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling” to register right away.
Youth/Adolescent Counseling
Today’s youth face a variety of challenges and struggles. Each challenge is unique, and each one requires delicate, individualized care. We believe the best people to disciple and counsel youth and adolescents are the parents who have been charged by God to shepherd their children. Yet, we realize that this may not always be possible.
For that reason, we now offer youth and adolescent biblical counseling and discipleship. Is your child struggling with:
- Conflict
- Family Relationships
- Divorce
- Self-Harm
- Pornography
- Substance Abuse
There is no three step approach to helping youth and adolescents, but there is an overarching truth that can be emphasized: God will never disappoint and no amount of suffering can ever undo what God has done for us in Christ.

Note: Parents or guardians of minors are required to participate in the biblical counseling process apart from their child. This will require registration forms from the child/children and the parents/guardians as well.
**If a minor is applying for counseling as well, the minor must fill out their own registration form as best as they can. This can look like the parent/guardian asking the minor questions from the form and recording their answers. Reigning Grace will not expect registration forms for minors that have been filled out by the minors parent or guardian.
